Collaborators:

OutsideIn Entertainment
OutsideIn Entertainment and Amateur Hour Commentary have maintained a VERY close relationship starting in 2019. Members of AHC participated in early development of ALVO, originally owned by Mardonpol and later transferred to OIE, prior to the PSVR release and have since supported the growth of the brand. While running the only competitive ALVO scene through the Alvo World League, Amateur Hour Commentary has also aided in brand growth through coverage of competition on the main ALVO YouTube Channel. The relationship between organizations is mutual and un-monetized. Neither benefit from each other aside from growth independent. The future is brights as the AWL is planned for at least three more seasons following the first successful year in 2023.

Gaming Synergy

     S
tarting in February 2020, Amateur Hour has worked collaboratively with the Pro League (re-branded Gaming Synergy Pro League in 2021) on their subdivision Firewall: Zero Hour North American League, run and operated by Demolition Sean, VeniVidiVici, and Recarn (alias'). In May 2020, Amateur Hour Commentary and the Pro League partnered, with Amateur Hour covering the seasons of the North American Division. You can find their Facebook page with the link below.

In association with the Pro League, Gaming Synergy is a web-based all in one platform where players, coaches, or organizations can organize their league matches and tournaments. Constructed and developed by Demolition Sean (alias), Amateur Hour began working collaboratively with Gaming Synergy in February 2020.

Brio E-Sports

In December of 2021, the Rocket League organization Brio E-Sports contacted us at Amateur Hour Commentary with a proposal to partner. Having history with competing with and covering their team, we were excited to discuss and agree to the terms of the arrangement. Headed by Beard Man and Jaeger, Brio E-Sports was able to lead one of their teams (Brio Silver) to champion status during the 2021 Fall Games of the Indy Gaming League, with an impressive 10-0 record! The organization has since disband but member of their organization remain friends and here we reflect our relationship.

First Contact Entertainment

In February 2020, Amateur Hour worked closely with First Contact Entertainment, developer of Firewall: Zero Hour, in the production of their weekly Friday events. This arrangement ended November 2020 as FCE began working diligently on their new title Solaris: Off World Combat. First Contact began their community streams once again in July 2021 at which time we were asked to return to aid in the production of Firewall Friday's. Following another 6 months of amazing coverage, First Contact went silent with content as they began their work on Firewall: Ultra, their PSVR2 sequel to Zero Hour. Following the launch in August 2023, Ultra got off to a rough start. Competitive coverage is not expected to start soon, but AHC is willing to cover the title in future when the game stabilizes and a competitive scene is established.

North American Firewall League

Starting in September 2019, Amateur Hour covered five seasons of the North American Firewall League, with the fourth season focusing primarily on post season playoffs. Collaborative efforts were arranged initially with Mario "Gutos" Machado through season 2, then later with Charith "RC_Numbers" Wick in season 3 & 4, and later Chuckimus Prime (alias) for season 5. Coverage ceased following a discussion regarding the direction of the community as both organizations maintained differing opinions. However, the time spent covering the matches aided in the initial growth of the Amateur Hour Commentary brand; this history with the NAFWL is regarded highly as the catapult of the AHC brand.

International Virtual Reality League (IVRL)

Amateur Hour Commentary has always been open to learning and collaborating, and fortunately, through networking and shared interests, the IVRL welcomed us to collaborate on their first season in the official VAIL league. The prize pool was set at $35,000 and ended at the Miami Vail Major. Given the vast expertise of the IVRL crew, we at AHC learned a significant amount around production, which is what we incorporate today to ease the flow and viewing perspective for the fans. We look forward to working with the IVRL again in the future and encourage anyone who is a fan of AHC to check them out as well.
